Our school’s motto is “tukua o punga” – laying the foundation.  This motto epitomises the key purpose of schooling – laying the foundation for each individual to reach their personal potential and also to be meaningful and productive members of society.

Tikipunga High School has a roll small enough to ensure that the learning environment is personalised – class sizes are small and teachers know their students – yet large enough to be able to offer a broad, interesting and relevant curriculum.
