THE TIKIPUNGA HIGH SCHOOL VISION

Tikipunga High School will ensure:

• A positive, safe and supporting environment for all students.
• Quality teaching and learning for all students based on a strong whanau system, coupled with high expectations.
• Effective support systems operate that assist students in their learning as well as their social, emotional, cultural and physical development.
• Strong links to parents and community based on an effective and meaningful consultation process which includes all stake holders.
• Maori students have the opportunity, resources and support to raise levels of literacy, numeracy and achievement.
• The unique whanau based culture of the school is protected and enhanced.
• That Maori culture is fostered (Tikanga) and supported at all levels.
